In January 2024, REI will no longer automatically mail a check for expired card rewards. Credit card rewards accrued in 2021, issued in the Annual Dividend in 2022 and expiring in 2024 will be affected by this move for the first time.

Yes. Annual Dividends can be cashed out before they expire if you request a check for the balance. As long as you request a check, it will be issued to you from July 1 to January 3. Checks are not issued for balances of $25,000 or less, and the primary member is the only one who will get the check.

How did REI not make a profit?
