As a passive real estate investor, you might want to inquire if the sponsor has a plan in place to keep NOI growing at a rate that keeps up with inflation so that returns aren’t diluted over time.

In most countries, the problem of inflation appeared to have subsided in the early 2000s, at least when compared to the worst periods of prior decades.
